DES MOINES, Iowa., Jan. 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- ARAG®, a leader in legal insurance, recently named Patrick Cleary the Managing Director of Sales for the Midwest region of the United States. Cleary will partner with insurance brokers, consultants, employers and other organizations to offer ARAG legal insurance as a voluntary benefit.
"Patrick's 25-plus years of experience in the benefits industry provides him with a blend of extensive sales skills and industry knowledge," said Dennis Healy, Chief Sales Officer at ARAG. "He uses a collaborative and consultative approach when working with clients, and focuses on educating them about the product. This is a critical technique for ARAG and the largely unknown legal category."
Prior to joining ARAG, Cleary held sales management roles at several industry-leading insurance companies including Unum and Prudential. Most recently, Cleary served as Vice President of Sales at BenefitVision, Inc. where he was responsible for business development in all distribution channels including direct to consumer, brokers and consultants.
"This is a great time to join ARAG because legal insurance is quickly gaining popularity as more employers turn to voluntary products to enhance benefits packages without increasing costs," said Cleary. "ARAG legal insurance includes identity theft, caregiving and financial planning services – protection for employees' everyday issues. I'm excited to help raise the visibility of this great product."
