Reliance Standard Launches RSL Complete Dental+Vision Benefit Plan

Reliance Standard Life Insurance Company (Reliance Standard), a leading group insurance carrier specializing in employee benefits solutions for companies of all sizes, has launched RSL Complete, an integrated dental and vision benefit plan for employers with 10 or more employees, according to an announcement earlier this week.

PHILADELPHIA—Reliance Standard is a member of the Tokio Marine Group and its parent firm operates in the property and casualty insurance, reinsurance and life insurance sectors globally. “Just in time for 2021 benefit enrollments, RSL Complete provides a flexible, affordable plan option for employers and employees,” the company’s announcement noted.

The new RSL Complete plan is available in all states except Washington, and it combines dental and vision coverage into one streamlined plan that is easier to administer and typically more affordable than two separate plans.

Most important, it allows the insured employee and family members to shift a portion of the yearly benefit maximum where it’s needed most, the announcement noted. For example, if it’s time for everyone to get new glasses or contacts, the insured can use the shared portion of the benefit to offset those costs.

In addition, to help families get caught up with preventive and routine dental care that may have suffered while in quarantine from the COVID-19 pandemic, Reliance Standard also announced it was waiving virtually all dental deductibles and removing dental exam/cleaning frequency limitations for all policyholders through Dec. 31, 2020.

In a time when administering employee benefits is getting more complicated, RSL Complete makes it simple with one policy, one deduction, one claims experience.”
